Bausch + Lomb has introduced Orphia, an AI–powered digital health platform with an initial application focused on preoperative cataract education. The brand-agnostic platform is designed to help patients understand cataracts and available treatment options, identify concerns, and prepare for discussions with their surgeons. According to Bausch + Lomb, Orphia aims to reduce routine educational and operational demands on clinical teams while allowing physicians to devote more time to patient care.
