RevolutionEHR, a cloud-based electronic health record and practice management platform for optometry, announced early access to a redesigned patient portal intended to streamline patient communication and reduce administrative workload. According to the company, the updated portal allows patients to schedule appointments, exchange secure messages with practice staff, pay bills online, and access clinical documents, including Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture records, from a single site. “When patient engagement is simple and dependable, practices gain time and bolster confidence,” Danny Shipman, vice president of product at RevolutionEHR, said in a statement.
