Focus A-Eye, a specialized medical education and innovation forum dedicated to advancing the application of AI in ophthalmology, has announced the launch of its inaugural Focus A-Eye Summit, set to take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Denver, Colorado.

Billed as a first-of-its-kind interdisciplinary forum, the Focus A-Eye Summit aims to bring together a diverse group of stakeholders shaping the future of eye care. Attendees will include ophthalmologists, researchers, pharmaceutical and medical device leaders, and AI developers, all convening to explore how artificial intelligence can be effectively integrated across the full spectrum of ophthalmic care.

The summit’s mission is to accelerate innovation and practical adoption of AI technologies—enhancing research capabilities, improving clinical efficiency, and ultimately elevating patient outcomes.

The event will feature a “Reverse Shark Tank,” where clinicians and industry leaders will present unmet needs directly to innovators, challenging them to develop practical, real-world solutions. Breakout discussions will further explore AI applications across both anterior and posterior segment diseases, including retina, glaucoma, cataract, cornea, and myopia. The program will also feature a session inspired by Formula One performance optimization, demonstrating how data-driven decision-making can enhance clinical workflows and operational efficiency in healthcare.
