Zeiss Medical Technology expanded its retinal imaging portfolio with Zeiss Alta Duo 300, a fully automated, compact, multimodal imaging solution.1 The device offers a fully automated structural OCT with a reference database and comprehensive reporting, combined with a true color fundus camera. It also includes high-resolution, AI-enhanced OCT angiography, along with full chamber depth anterior OCT scan capability without the need for external lens applications, thus providing multiple diagnostic functionalities in one device.

The introduction of Zeiss Alta Duo 300 is intended to expand the range of retinal imaging solutions available from Zeiss, enabling eye care providers to select the imaging platform that best aligns with their practice needs. Zeiss plans to showcase the new device at the European Society of Retina Specialists congress in Vienna, Austria, from Oct 1–4, and it is intended to become available in select markets later in 2026.1
