Optos announced it has reached a milestone of 30,000 devices installed worldwide. As part of this milestone, Optos recognized Radiance Eye Care, a member of the Vision Source network, for their meaningful impact on comprehensive eye care. By incorporating Optomap ultra-widefield imaging (Optos) into routine examinations, the practice has strengthened its ability to support better patient outcomes, according to the company.
“When clinicians can see more of the retina, they are better equipped to detect and monitor systemic and ocular disease. Practices like Radiance Eye Care demonstrate what’s possible when innovation is paired with a deep commitment to patient outcomes. It’s not just about improving vision, it’s about protecting health, saving sight, and in many cases, saving lives,” said Alexandre Montague, CEO of Optos.
“As a Vision Source member, we are focused on delivering the highest standard of care through innovation and collaboration,” said Toral Patel, OD, Radiance Eye Care. “Having access to Optos technology allows us to better educate our patients, identify concerns, and take a more proactive approach to eye care. That ultimately means we can do more to protect our patients’ vision and overall health.”
