Newton has announced the launch of Newton Preferred, a membership program designed to help independent optometry practices differentiate their services through integrated lens technology, eyewear, financing, and pricing benefits.
The program combines Newton's Neurolens technology with practice-focused financial incentives and patient purchasing options as independent optometrists face increasing competition from corporate chains and private equity-backed eye care groups.
According to Newton, at the center of Newton Preferred is the Neurolens platform, which addresses ocular misalignment. Participating practices receive access to 0% financing for the N3 headset and the company's full software platform.
The membership also includes Newton&co., an exclusive frame collection curated by Newton and supplied by Founders Optical. The frames are included with every patient prescription under the program, with the goal of encouraging patients to purchase eyewear directly from their independent eye care provider.
Additional benefits include Newton Pay, a patient financing option offered through Cherry that allows patients to make monthly payments for vision care services and products.
Newton Preferred also offers quarterly volume-based Neurolens rebates and preferred pricing on Sequel lenses, which are designed for patients experiencing digital eye strain. According to the company, these incentives are intended to help practices offset technology investments and expand their lens offerings.
Presale enrollment is currently open. Program benefits begin December 1, 2026, for practices joining through the purchase of the N3 platform. Early access enrollment closes December 31, 2026. Existing Neurolens providers can enroll beginning December 1. Additional information is available at www.newton.tech/preferred.
