Haag-Streit USA and Marco Lombart have entered into an exclusive distribution agreement for the Lenstar 900 optical biometer and the Octopus 600 and Octopus 900 perimeters in the United States. 

Under the agreement, Marco Lombart becomes the sole US distributor for the two product lines, aiming to broaden access to the diagnostic technologies through its nationwide network of eye care providers.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

According to the companies, the partnership combines Haag-Streit’s globally recognized diagnostic systems with Marco Lombart’s established relationships with US practices, as well as its clinical expertise and service infrastructure. For providers, the companies said, the arrangement offers a single point of contact for purchasing, integrating, and maintaining these devices.

Equipped with an Automated Positioning System (APS), the Lenstar 900 optical biometer is designed to enhance measurement consistency and reduce variability in IOL calculations. Through the new agreement, Marco Lombart will provide practices with access to the Lenstar portfolio alongside training, clinical integration support, and ongoing service.

The Octopus perimeter line, including the Octopus 600 and 900 models, supports visual field testing for diagnosing and monitoring glaucoma and other ophthalmic conditions. The Octopus 900 is also used in clinical research settings, including international trials that require customized perimetry protocols.

Marco Lombart already distributes Haag-Streit slit lamps and Haag-Streit Reliance examination chairs and instrument stands across the US.
