Glaukos released its 2025 Sustainability Report, outlining progress across its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) priorities. The annual report details efforts spanning product access, community engagement, corporate governance, and environmental responsibility. Company leadership emphasized that sustainability remains closely tied to its broader innovation strategy.

“I am proud to issue our seventh annual Sustainability Report, which highlights the meaningful progress we continue to make in advancing our core corporate sustainability initiatives,” said Thomas Burns, chairman and chief executive officer of Glaukos. “Innovation informs not only our product strategy, but also how we approach sustainability, governance, and our responsibilities as a global healthcare leader.”

Among the report’s highlights, Glaukos said it has provided more than $22 million in product donations to date, supporting expanded access to essential vision care in underserved regions. The company also reported nearly 870 employee volunteer hours across 61 community service events in 2025, along with additional seasonal outreach benefiting more than 300 families. The company continued to strengthen its internal governance and compliance framework, launching an updated Code of Conduct along with enhanced employee training tools. It also achieved full participation in annual cybersecurity awareness training across its workforce.

Operationally, Glaukos broke ground on a new research, development, and manufacturing facility in Huntsville, Alabama. The company also reached a regulatory milestone with FDA approval of Epioxa, while preparing for its anticipated commercial launch in 2026.

Glaukos collaborated with advocacy organizations to reach nearly 15,000 individuals with glaucoma and keratoconus through awareness initiatives, and reported that approximately 14,000 keratoconus patients have been served through its patient services programs since their inception.

On the environmental front, Glaukos completed a climate risk assessment aligned with Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) recommendations and obtained external limited assurance of its greenhouse gas emissions data, steps aimed at improving transparency and accountability.
