Founders Optical has unveiled a refreshed brand identity following its acquisition by Newton in November 2025.

According to Founders, the updated branding reflects investments in laboratory operations, staffing and customer service while maintaining the company's focus on independent eye care practices.

Since joining Newton, Founders Optical has focused on expanding its laboratory capabilities, adding specialized personnel, and improving operational performance. The company reported an average remake rate below 0.5%, with more than 80% of customers rating their likelihood of recommending the laboratory at 7 or higher on a 10-point scale.

Founders Optical has also expanded customer service coverage across Eastern, Central and Western regions, with support available from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. CT. Its laboratory team has more than 60 years of combined experience, according to a company news release.

The rebranding coincides with Newton's introduction of Newton Preferred, a program combining Neurolens technology, frames, patient financing and pricing options for independent practices. Through the program, participating practices can access enhanced rebate opportunities through Newton's Portfolio Advantage plans and laboratory services supporting Neurolens and Sequel lens technologies. Founders Optical will continue offering Unity lens designs, TechShield coatings, and other products.

Existing Founders Optical customers will retain their current accounts, service relationships and laboratory support teams.
