Envision and VisionServe Alliance announced that their 2027 National Conference will take place May 11-14, 2027, at the Royal Sonesta Houston Galleria Hotel in Houston, Texas, bringing together professionals across vision rehabilitation, research, and organizational leadership.

Building on their inaugural combined conference in 2026, the organizations expect more than 400 clinical rehabilitation professionals, researchers, executives, and service providers to attend. The event will feature more than 90 hours of programming across as many as six concurrent education and research tracks.

Sessions will address vision research and technology, clinical best practices, leadership and organizational development, and strategies to improve patient care and outcomes. Programming will include clinical education sessions, panel discussions, symposia, workshops, and research presentations.

“VisionServe is thrilled to again collaborate with Envision to offer powerful education opportunities for leaders in the Vision Rehabilitation field,” said Lee Nasehi, president and CEO of VisionServe Alliance.

The 2026 conference attracted 371 professionals representing nine disciplines and featured 73 clinical sessions, 89 speakers, and 47 sponsors and exhibitors.

“The value of this conference lies in connecting research and education with everyday practice,” said Michael Epp, manager of professional education at Envision. “By bringing together clinical professionals, researchers, and organizational leaders, we create opportunities to learn from one another and explore practical approaches that support independence and quality of life for people who are blind or have low vision.”

Early-bird registration is open through February 20, 2027, with additional discounts available for organizations registering three or more team members.

Envision and VisionServe Alliance are also accepting proposals for clinical education sessions, panels, symposia, workshops, and research presentations. The submission deadline is December 12, 2026.
