CooperVision has introduced the MiSight 1 day Switch Guarantee, a new program aimed at helping eye care professionals transition children from traditional single vision contact lenses into myopia management treatment with MiSight 1 day lenses.
The initiative is designed to reduce barriers that can prevent families from adopting myopia control therapies, including concerns about cost, uncertainty about changing lens types and hesitation around committing to a new treatment plan.
Under the program, families who try MiSight 1 day lenses and decide to return to their child’s previous single vision contact lenses may qualify for reimbursement support. CooperVision said families can return up to two opened 90-pack boxes of MiSight 1 day lenses for a refund of up to $300. In addition, eligible families may receive reimbursement of up to $200 toward repurchasing their child’s prior contact lenses.
The company said the program is intended to provide a lower-risk pathway for parents considering myopia management for their children while helping clinicians more confidently recommend proactive treatment options.
MiSight 1 day is the only FDA-approved soft contact lens indicated to slow the progression of myopia in children while simultaneously correcting refractive error.
