Zeiss introduced two advancements in diagnostics at Vision Expo East aimed at helping support the OD community diagnose and manage patient care.

HFA3 SITA Faster v 1.5

Now available on the Humphrey Field Analyzer 3 (HFA3) with the 24-2C test pattern. This platform now offers the ability to perform the SITA Faster 24-2 for the fastest test, or the 24-2C for a more detailed analysis. The SITA Faster 24-2C adds ten test points to the 24-2 pattern, which were selected to examine areas along physiologically relevant nerve fiber bundles known to be susceptible to glaucomatous defects. The HFA3 is the gold standard in managing glaucoma patients and predicting glaucoma progression.

The CIRRUS HD-OCT with AngioPlex now offers a comprehensive set of tools for the management and treatment planning of glaucoma and retinal disease. New to the CIRRUS is the Wellness Report. This report is designed to meet the specific needs of an optometrist performing primary care and looking to expand medical services. The Wellness Report gives clinicians a simple way to add health evaluation services to their practices by providing a single-page report with wide-field OCT assessment of both the macula and optic nerve head.

The CIRRUS 11.5 will also be showcased with the new Epithelial Thickness Mapping (ETM) available with the anterior segment premium module. The new ETM allows surgeons to confidently assess corneal response to refractive surgery. This one-second, non-contact exam provides over 200% more measured data in a 9×9 scan than any other technology on the market.
