Sightpath Medical announces that they have reached a milestone, having participated in more than 80,000 IntraLase procedures since adding this technology to their variable access refractive offering in December of 2007, according to a company news release.
“Sightpath Medical took a delicate technology that no one thought could be mobilized, and has emerged as the industry leader in providing refractive surgery as a service to surgeons throughout the United States,” Dan Robins, Executive Vice President of Operations for Sightpath Medical, said in the news release. “We are proud of the ingenuity and persistence our team exhibited in developing the now-patented system needed to make this technology available to our customers in the safe, consistent manner they have come to expect from our company.”
Sightpath Medical has a nearly 25-year history of mobilizing sensitive ophthalmic equipment via proven operational processes. More than 25 manufacturer-certified laser engineers help Sightpath deliver on the promise that quality eye care should be available to everyone, everywhere. The company provides benefits beyond case day such as ongoing clinical assurance and practice development support that surgeons and surgical facilities need in order to deliver state-of-the-art patient care regardless of location.
