Sheraz Daya, MD, FACP, FACS, FRCS(Ed), FRCOphth, ophthalmologist and Medical Director of Centre for Sight in the UK, has been featured in a BBC Documentary about the practices and regulation of laser eye surgery in the UK.
Dr. Daya was selected as an expert voice on refractive eye surgery, where he provided a great insight into the work of the RCOphth, the certificate and standardisation. The documentary involved filming Dr. Daya at work at Centre For Sight demonstrating how the procedure should be carried out, with a thorough explanation of proper patient care.
"I have been delighted to take part in this documentary, having laser eye surgery is a big decision. It goes without saying that your eyes and vision are important to you and it is very important to firstly take no chances and secondly to get the very best possible care available," Dr. Daya said.
