Oculus Surgical has announced a distribution partnership with Vortex Surgical. The partnership contains the distribution for all of Vortex products in the United States, including the Actu8 premium disposable forceps and procedural convenience kits, which were recently released at AAO in New Orleans.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Oculus Surgical is a subsidiary of Oculus Optikgeräte GmbH. The newly named CEO/CFO Bob Zatarain, who has over 30 years of experience delivering new products and innovative technology to the ophthalmic space, said, “We look forward to bringing the Vortex Surgical products along with our flagship Oculus Surgical portfolio to our current and future customers”.
