Eye Care Leaders announced the release of its myCare set of solutions designed specifically for ophthalmology and its subspecialties. The comprehensive product set includes:
- myCare iMedicWare—Single platform, completely integrated EHR, Practice Management (PM), ASC, and optical combined with a value-added solution set of Analytics, Portal, and iMonitor.
- myCare Integrity—best-of-breed solution for EHR and PM, allowing customers the flexibility to choose the best solutions to integrate together to best fit their office needs.
- myCare Services—industry-leading services that include revenue cycle solutions, HIPAA compliance, MIPS assurance, Evolve practice optimization, patient retention and acquisition, and more.
The evolution of Eye Care Leaders’s myCare platform aims to bring more choice and flexibility to practices and ambulatory surgery centers looking to implement fully-integrated software solutions.
“Practices can make the software decision that best meets their needs,” Brent Michael, Chief Commercial Officer at Eye Care Leaders, said in a company news release. “You can choose a fully-integrated, single platform, cloud-based solution like myCare iMedicWare, or an integrated, easy to use EMR and PM like myCare Integrity, depending on your unique practice requirements.”
“The goal of any ophthalmic technology solution set is improving interoperability and workflow, while enabling better patient care,” Mr. Michael said. “If practices want to ace value-based care reimbursement and be profitable, they absolutely require a solution that shares data seamlessly across platforms. The myCare solutions facilitate that goal, and thus allow physicians to focus on patient care.”
Onboarding time is another huge challenge for eye care practices or ASCs implementing new technologies. Eye Care Leaders wants to speed up and simplify the process of learning new software for clients. Practices that choose an integrated solution like myCare iMedicWare or myCare Integrity will enjoy a faster, more efficient implementation because training sessions are tailored for front office, clinical, surgical, back office, and optical staff.
“Practices can take advantage of any or all myCare Service offerings to build a complete, 360-degree view of their patients’ health and their practice’s efficiency,” Arun Kapur, ECL’s President of Software and Technology, said in the news release. “We’re ready to provide these intelligent, agile solutions to suit every eye care practice.”
Clients can add myCare Services to myCare Integrity or myCare iMedicWare, as well as any EHR or PM within or outside of the ECL family of solutions.
Eye Care Leaders continues to also focus on their full portfolio of eye care specific software platforms by announcing 2015 certification status is nearing completion across all platforms.
“We recognize the importance of continuing to support and make compliant all of our customers that have invested in an Eye Care Leaders product,” Mr. Kapur said. “Our clients rely on us to deliver a great product, and we are focused on doing so across our family of companies.”
Eye Care Leaders will be exhibiting at the AAO 2017 conference in New Orleans on November 11-14. They will be showcasing myCare iMedicWare, myCare Integrity, myCare Services and offering hands-on demonstrations throughout the weekend at booths #3714 and #4939 in the exhibit hall.
