EHR provider Compulink Business Systems will demonstrate the latest enhancements to Eyecare Advantage at this week’s SECO 2018. Among the key innovations being demonstrated is a solution to engage patients with a state-of-the-art mobile experience, according to a company news release.
Advantage’s mobile Patient Engagement app allows for delivery of personalized content to the patient’s phone via a text message. Content can be targeted based on the patient’s appointment type and diagnosis. The app can be used to market products and services, along with delivering patient education. Surveys can also be sent to patient’s phone and the feedback collected is automatically brought back into Advantage for analysis.
“We’ve developed patient engagement technology that’s unique in a couple of important ways. First, it allows providers to engage directly with the patient’s mobile phone via text and without requiring an app download. Secondly, it’s integrated with our software to allow providers to send content specific to the patients’ needs and in real-time while they are in the office,” said Link Wilson, CEO and founder of Compulink. “We think this is going to open up the channel for providers to communicate with patients in ways they have not been able to before.”
Used by more than 10,000 providers nationwide and 17 Colleges of Optometry, Compulink’s ONC 2015 Certified all-in-one system is designed to streamline practice workflow and drive efficiency and profitability. Features include EHR, Practice Management, Optical POS and Inventory Management, RCM, analytics, patient engagement, telehealth, and audit protection.
