Avellino Labs to Provide Corporate and Technology Updates at OIS and ASCRS in San Diego

Executives from Avellino Labs will be presenting at several events during the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery annual meeting at the San Diego Convention Center and nearby venues, May 2-5, 2019.

Known for its successful introduction of the world’s first DNA test to confirm the presence of genetic indicators that are positively associated with corneal dystrophies, Avellino Labs has been invited to present company updates and clinical findings throughout the ASCRS annual meeting.

Friday, May 3 @ ASCRS/EyeWorld Cornea Day: Symposium

Location: San Diego Convention Center, Ballroom 20D

6:15-7:15 am: New Approaches to the Diagnosis and Management of Important Corneal Disorders in the Cataract and Refractive Patient. 

CME course co-moderated by Richard Lindstrom, MD and Terry Kim, MD. 

In a first for Cornea Day, the panel will discuss clinical corneal topics including the latest information on the diagnosis and management of conditions like keratoconus, neurotrophic keratitis, corneal dystrophies, and more. The discussion will include presentation of clinical data showcasing Avellino Labs’ genetic testing in the diagnosis of corneal disease.
