American Vision Partners, an eyecare practice management organization, has established a partnership with Las Vegas-based Abrams Eye Institute, marking its initial move into the Nevada market, according to an announcement this week, as reported in VisionMonday. The affiliation of the two businesses will “improve the quality of care for patients in the Las Vegas, Henderson and Pahrump areas of Nevada by bringing additional world-class doctors, more comprehensive vision care services and additional locations to the community,” the announcement noted.
American Vision Partners is a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital and it was established in April 2017 with the affiliation of Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center and Southwestern Eye Center, as VMAIL reported. H.I.G. Capital is a global private equity investment firm with more than $25 billion of equity capital under management.
